design concept

We collaborated with Zalando and Refuge Radio to develop a spatial narrative that spanned the tour’s three locations. Our approach was rooted in uniting industrial experimentation with a welcoming warmth. The design reflected the progressive ethos of streetwear culture while remaining adaptable to each city’s unique character. Every element contributed to crafting an environment that was as bold as it was inclusive.

MODULAR DESIGN

Adaptability was a cornerstone of our approach. Recognizing the logistical challenges of a multi-city tour, we engineered each design element for rapid assembly and disassembly, enabling seamless transitions between locations. Whether in Berlin’s urban heart, Frankfurt’s cultural hubs, or Munich’s vibrant streets, the design remained consistent, resonating with the unique energy of each city while maintaining a unified brand presence.

SPATIAL IDENTITY

Each piece of furniture and spatial element was meticulously designed and handcrafted. Using raw materials such as brushed steel and foam, we created a dynamic and progressive contrast. The industrial tones were softened by careful detailing, ensuring the spaces felt inclusive and approachable. Across all three locations, the spatial identity remained consistent, capturing the essence of creativity and community celebrated in the event.

material usage

Raw materials played a significant role in defining the aesthetic and functional aspects of the tour’s design. Brushed steel provided a sturdy, industrial backbone, while foam added a layer of experimental texture and versatility. This thoughtful selection of materials allowed us to craft furniture and spatial elements that were not only visually striking but also durable and adaptable for the demands of a multi-city tour.
